There is nothing I love more than a beautifully constructed, thoughtful, soulful image. It breathes life into me. It completes me somehow. Creating these images for you is my dream.


I've been taking photos professionally for 15 years now and have loved working with every genre of photography there is.

I'm a Northern California girl in Middle Tennessee. A single mom to 4 boys, we spend most of our time at home on our little farm. That is, of course, when we aren't traveling and exploring the world.


If you are interested in booking a session with me, I would love to hear your vision for the project and get to know you more. Especially if travel is involved. That would be fun.

INDOORS

Shooting indoors creates opportunity for moody images in natural light, and all kinds of possibilities with artificial light. I love a space with many windows that flood in that natural light, but I also love the diversity that artificial light brings when you get to play with shadows and colors.

OUTDOORS

Natural light is the most perfect and beautiful light. I don't use camera flashes, just the light from the sun. Overcast light is my favorite to work with, but I also love the warmth of a summer sun in the evening and the moodiness that the blue hour brings. God sure made light perfect.

LOCATION

The space around you in photos is instrumental in the mood and feeling of any image. Your clothing choices should compliment your surroundings. Although your location is extremely important, it comes second to incredible lighting. Nashville area can portray a beautiful city scape, a rustic small town vibe, or a pastured country feel. Traveling to many different places have produced various settings that are key to what each photo portrays. Just another way to be creative.
 I live in Lyles, TN and mostly photograph in Nashville area, Franklin, Dickson, and Columbia areas of Middle Tennessee. I post my current and future travel destinations so you can book if one aligns with you. I will also travel to where ever your shoot will take place. Just send me a message and I will pull a custom quote together for you.
